:'( Baghdad is burning :( and the worst feeling is being away and watching it feeling helpless
I don't know if we can blame the government. After all, the ones who are destroying our country might be our own countrymen with no links....

I respect what u said but I do blame the government, its their job to work for the best of the people, they should work on stopping the inside wars and rebuild the country, if they cant do those 2 things then they should leave it for someone else to try... Its the iraqi lives that they are playing with!!

'There are Americans who fight the American Occupation." ...and I am certainly one of them. ...and also the occupation of Afghanistan, the occupation of Palestine by Israel, and the insideous threat the children of Iran face today. I wish you to know, the day my president gave the attack order on your country, I wept for your people and children. I can only say God help us to understand and feel Love instead of fear and hatred for each other. I wish you Love and light and a future for your precious children.

Hello Raghda,
I haven't visited your blog for a long time. But, I visited Sunshine's blog a few days ago. I just went back there and found her link to you.
I know things are still bad in Iraq sometimes. I am sorry about that and I hope life for people there will get better! I was a bit encouraged to read Sunshine's new post. She went to Baghdad with her family and saw many good things. It made me happy to read her post and gave me a small hope that things there are getting better.
I was interested to read that you are studying architecture. I studied structural engineering and worked with many architects. Some of them have no common sense! They want windows everywhere, but no structure to hold them in place! ;) So, I hope you will be a sensible architect. :)
Take care.

Hi there!
My name is Bisma M. and I am 20 years old living in the USA. I go to Rutgers University and I am studying political science and economics and want to go to law school. I am working on a research project about Iraqi youth and their views on democracy and religion. I came across your blog and it is fascinating because I want to know what Iraqi youth are thinking about their government, religion and democracy.
I know this may seem strange but any help I could get would benefit my project so much! If you would like to know more about the project or know more about myself, I am willing to talk to you. Please let me know. My email is bismam91092@gmail.com
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Bisma M.
